December 29, 2009 2009 Resume
What a year!
Here is a list of all the cool things that ’09 was:
- Married the love of my life and had all my best friends and family there to celebrate (thanks everyone)
- Zip-lined through a rain forest
- Survived shipping the biggest entertainment launch in history (so there Beatles and Rolling Stones! jk)
- Went to Europe for the 1st time and discovered pork knuckles are not so great
- Went to NYC for the 1st time and discovered that I would weigh a trillion lbs. if I lived there
- Brought home a wonder-pup, Dutch
- Watched my sister become a NY times best selling author; 3 weeks and counting may I add
- Welcomed baby Chloe Snow into the world
- Got to see my parents via the wonders of Skype (thank you for getting a PC and rid of the dreaded WebTV)
- Celebrated my good friends Danny & Katie getting engaged
- Watched my UNC Tarheels win the NCAA Basketball championship (Dook sux)

That is quite a bucket list… what do you think you will do in 2010 to top it? There is a new TV show about finding missing family members, but none of their stories will top mine. So glad I was around to see the joy only a mom (who just happens to be my niece) can experience come from many of your 2009 experiences. You, Erin and the Garcia’s are a special group of people and I have added the experience of finding you mom and getting to know and know of your existence to my 2009 list. Someday I will have the wonderful pleasure of meeting you and Erin face to face. I feel I already know you from conversations with your Mom and Dad and all of your wonderful posts and photos. So true…what a year it has been. I get to be the proudest parent of 2009… i have found THE sister i have always wanted ( & she’s just like me…scary, right!!!) & my best friend , Aunt Carol…my 2 grandbabies are awesome & smart & beautiful….& it’s 35 years & still going strong…it’s been an awesome year of great highs………
